Bank of Melbourne wins best local bank in Australia
Bank of Melbourne recognised as the best local bank in Australia for the second time.
At the Financial Review Smart Investor Blue Ribbon Awards 2015, Bank of Melbourne was recognised as the best local bank in Australia for the second time – winning the Regional Bank of the Year award.
Chief Executive, Scott Tanner, proudly accepted this award, saying the second win in four years is a testament to the staff and loyal customers. The award recognises Bank of Melbourne’s entire range of banking products, offering competitive deposit products and low-cost borrowing solutions.
Bank of Melbourne Private wins APBA awards
At the 2014 Australian Private Banking and Wealth Awards, Bank of Melbourne Private were proud to win two individual awards:

Bank of Melbourne Private wins AB+F award for Best Cash Management - Business Bank.
At the Bank of Melbourne, we always aim for excellence in product, service and customer satisfaction which was recently recognised in the Australian Banking & Finance Corporate and Business Banking Award 2011 for Best Cash Management - Business Bank.
A panel of industry experts judged Australia’s business banks across 12 categories based on their performance in 2011. The judges came from research, accounting and small business leadership roles. The winner of the Best Cash Management Business Bank of the Year Award must demonstrate a dedicated focus on customer experience covering issues such as account services and cash management; short term interest rates; competitiveness on transaction fees; options to manage other currencies and range of products.
