JobKeeper assistance

A temporary overdraft to help cover employee wages while you await the monthly JobKeeper Payment.

JobKeeper payments are paid monthly in arrears, so you may wish to consider applying for an overdraft (or an increase to an existing overdraft) to help with your cash flow. This specific overdraft is a temporary facility that’s only available to existing Bank of Melbourne customers, and only while your business remains eligible for the JobKeeper Payment scheme. This offer can only be obtained until 3 January 2021, and Bank of Melbourne reserves the right to reprice, amend, extend or withdraw the offer at any time. Withdrawal means you will be required to repay the overdraft.

If you require funding for a different purpose, please refer to our other lending solutions.

Check your eligibility:

Are you an existing Bank of Melbourne Customer?

Have you enrolled in the JobKeeper Payment scheme with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and can you provide evidence of eligibility?

Have you nominated a Bank of Melbourne bank account to receive the payments from the ATO?

Do you make your payroll payments from a Bank of Melbourne bank account?

Do you confirm that you will be using the funds solely to pay your employees salaries or wages while awaiting monthly (in arrears) JobKeeper payments?

Are you authorised to answer these questions and apply for credit on behalf of each borrower and have you advised all parties (including guarantors)?

Based on your response you have not met the eligibility criteria. This means we are unable to accept your application - but please visit our Business COVID-19 Hub to see if you qualify for any other relief measures.

Please visit the ATO website to enrol and be sure to nominate a Bank of Melbourne bank account to receive your JobKeeper payment.
