Why is my card changing?

As part of a product update, we’re phasing out Bank of Melbourne Gold Advantage Visa cards and changing them to Bank of Melbourne Platinum Advantage Visa cards.

What do I do next?

Nothing. You can keep using your current card as you normally would. You’ll see the name of your card change in Online Banking and on your statement from the date shown in communications we recently sent you. In the future, when we next send you a replacement card, it will be a Bank of Melbourne Platinum Advantage Visa card.

Why is this change happening?

As part of a product update, we’re phasing out Gold Advantage Visa cards and changing them to Platinum Advantage Visa cards. 

When will this change happen?

You should receive a notification informing you of the change via email, mail or SMS. These changes will take effect from the date shown in these communications. 

Will my card number change?

No, your card number will not change as a result of this change. You can continue to use your existing card as usual.

If you report your card is lost or stolen, or your card is re-issued (for example, when your current card expires), you will receive a Platinum Advantage Visa card and must update your card details and any recurring payments, as usual.

Will my statements change?

While your statement date won't change, the name of the product on your statement will change to Bank of Melbourne Platinum Advantage Visa.
