Using accessibility features on EFTPOS Now terminals

Our EFTPOS Now terminals have features to help support blind and low vision customers to make payments independently. There are two modes:

Assistance mode

  • Provides larger text on the screen
  • Offers numerous colour contrasts to support individuals 

Accessibility mode

  • Gives audio instructions
  • Has raised tactile markers with audio helpers and a blank screen for secure PIN entry
  • Optional training that provides audio instructions to demonstrate what will happen when entering a PIN.
