Other steps to support your claim
- Let the police know immediately if the damage is malicious, property has been stolen/lost or your home has been illegally entered
- Don’t allow anyone to repair the property until we’ve had a chance to inspect it
What if further information is required?
We will send you a letter confirming your claim and case number plus any further information or documents we may need you to provide such as copies of original receipts for items you're claiming and the police report

How long does it take to settle a claim?
When we have all necessary information and have completed all investigation that was required to assess your claim, we will decide to accept or reject your claim and notify you of our decision within 10 business days.
