Using BPAY®

Individual billers set their own limits which can be different from the bank’s limits. We set a maximum daily limit of $100,000 per day, however certain billers have a lower limit of $15,000 per payment for security reasons. 

BPAY payments made before 5:30pm (Sydney time) on a business banking day, are generally processed on the same day. BPAY payments are usually received by the Biller on the next business banking day. Payments made after cut-off time, or on weekends and public holidays, will be processed on the following business banking day. 

To allow for processing by the Biller, please allow up to 72 hours for the payment to be received.

No, once a transfer has been confirmed in Internet Banking, it cannot be cancelled or stopped. If a payment has been made incorrectly, please contact our Internet Banking Helpdesk on 1300 555 203.

No, you don’t have to delete and recreate the biller each time you make a payment. If you save the biller to your favourites, you can enter your new CRN when you go to make a payment. 

Billers can be deleted on Internet Banking: 

1. Logon to Internet Banking and select Transfers, payments and BPAY.
2. Under Manage my select BPAY billers to view and make changes to your billers.
