  • Rental car after accident, up to $100 per day for up to 30 days. However, we will extend your rental car or daily travel allowance period to the extent that we caused or contributed to the delay in repairing your vehicle.
  • Up to $3,000 cover for tools of trade for any one incident
  • Removal of basic excess for 1 windscreen replacement and 2 repairs in each period of insurance where the broken windscreen is the only damage to your vehicle

Make a claim

If you're involved in an accident

  • Don’t admit to anyone involved that you were at fault
  • Where reasonably practical, write down the full names, addresses and phone numbers of all drivers, passengers and witness involved
  • Take all reasonable steps to prevent any further loss or damage from occurring
  • Or write down the vehicle registration numbers and insurance details of all vehicles involved or any other information that would reasonably allow us to identify the person so we may exercise our rights of recovery and to support your claim
  • The insurer will advise you about any other aspects of the claims procedure which apply (this information can also be found in the policy terms and conditions). You may need to provide us with this information when making a claim.

If your car is stolen or maliciously damaged

  • You should call the police as soon as reasonably possible if your car is stolen or maliciously damaged
  • Where reasonable, you may need to provide the name of the police officer and police stations where you made the report.

* Save up to 15% on Comprehensive Motor Insurance is a combination of two discounts: 10% on your first year’s premium when buying a new policy online, and 0-10% Safe Driver Discount (SDD), based on the driving history of all drivers named on the policy. Save up to 15% discount is based on data which shows a substantial proportion of customers will receive a 5% SDD on their premiums. If you are eligible for more than one discount, we apply each of them in a predetermined order (excluding taxes and government charges). This means the effect of applying any subsequent discount will be reduced. For example, the combined effect of applying two 10% discounts consecutively means you will not see the full benefit of both discounts. Discounts may be subject to rounding and only apply to the extent any minimum premium is not reached. Promotional or other discounts may apply from time to time for customers who apply for insurance via other methods. Discounts do not apply to the premium for optional covers.
