What level of cover do you need?

Here are the main features of the 2 levels of cover. Full details available in the PDS (PDF 567KB)

Comprehensive Insurance

The highest level of cover we offer for your vehicle which provides cover for fire, theft, accidents, malicious damage and more.
 

  • Accidental loss or damage (including fire or theft)
  • New car replacement if your new car (less than two years old from original registration) is a total loss
  • Emergency repairs to get you home if your car is involved in an accident, is damaged or stolen (up to $500)
  • 30 day car rental if your car is stolen (up to $100 per day)
  • Child seat or baby capsule replacement (up to $500)
  • Personal effects stolen from your locked vehicle or damaged in an accident (up to $1,000)
  • Transportation costs if your vehicle cannot be driven home following an accident
  • Towing costs if your car is stolen, damaged by fire or involved in an accident
  • Trailer and caravan cover (the lesser of $1,000 or market value)
  • Lock re-keying/re-coding (up to $1,000)
  • Emergency accommodation and travelling expenses (up to $1,000 if you’re more than 100km away from home)
  • Legal liability cover - up to $20 million to pay compensation and associated legal costs for loss or damage caused by your car to another person’s vehicle or property caused by you or someone you’ve authorised to drive your car

Third Party Property Damage Insurance

Third Party Property Damage covers you if you damage someone else’s property and you’re legally liable for the accident.
 

  • Legal liability cover - up to $20 million to pay compensation and associated legal costs for loss or damage caused by your car to another person’s vehicle or property caused by you or someone you’ve authorised to drive your car
  • Loss or damage to your car caused by an at fault uninsured driver (up to market value of $5,000)
