Extra security for when you need it most

Temporarily lock your card for up to 15 days to gain added security while you look for it. If it turns up, you can simply unlock it, otherwise report it lost or stolen to cancel your card.



How it works

Step 1.
Logon to the Bank of Melbourne App and tap ‘services’ at the bottom of your screen

Step 2.
Under My Cards, look for 'Lock card temporarily'.

Step 3.
Choose the card you wish to lock by tapping on the lock icon. Once your card is locked, no one can use your card. The card will also be locked in any digital wallets it is currently added to.



Lost, Stolen, or Misplaced Card?

Lock your card instantaneously

Temporarily lock your card to reduce the risk of unauthorised transactions.

Found your lost card?

Simply unlock the card in the App by tapping on the lock icon. Your card will be automatically unlocked in any digital wallets it is currently added to.

Lost your card for good?

Cancel your card by reporting it lost or stolen in the Bank of Melbourne App to immediately stop further transactions, and order a replacement card. Your replacement card details will be automatically updated in any digital wallets this card has been added to and you can continue to make transactions without the need activate your replacement card/s.

You'll need to be registered for Internet Banking and sign in to the Bank of Melbourne App to use this feature.
