Switch to Bank of Melbourne

Once you've opened an account with us, you have options to help switch your banking.

1. Identify your regular payments

- Check your account statements and/or internet banking from your previous financial institution (or you can ask your previous financial institution for a list of your regular payments)

or

- Connect to your existing bank and import your payees and BPAY® billers into Bank of Melbourne Internet Banking and email yourself a list of regular direct debits1 made over the last 90 days on bank accounts held with selected financial institutions2.

See a step by step guide on how to import your payees and billers

or

- Complete a Request for Regular Payment List form so we can get a list from your previous bank and post it out to you. This list will show payments to and from your old account for the past 13 months.

This takes approximately two weeks from the time you submit the form to us depending on your previous bank.

Unfortunately this does not include regular BPAY® 'Pay anyone', payments linked to your transaction account and any direct debits or credits linked to your debit or credit cards or Regular (periodical) payments. It only includes direct debits and credits.

You will need to find these other payments yourself by checking your account statements and/or internet banking from your previous financial institution.

2. Switch your payments

Once you get your list of regular payments, please make sure they are correct and up to date.

- Logon to Bank of Melbourne Internet Banking and set your regular payment from the scheduled payments section

or

- Complete a Notice of Variation of Account Details form so we can redirect regular payments from your old account to your new Bank of Melbourne account
